Systémová integraceSystémová integrace je pojem, který je zejména v poslední době často využíván a je spojován s řadou významů a očekávání. Asi nejčastější z nich pramení z potřeby vzájemného propojení aplikací a výměny dat mezi nimi, resp. pospojování více různých systémů do jednoho globálního funkčního celku.

System Integration

System integration is recently a rather commonly used notion associated with a range of different meanings and expectations. Its most frequent use is probably based on the need of interconnection of applications and data exchange between them, or integration of several systems into a single global structure.

System Integration

System integration is a recently rather commonly used notion associated with a range of different meanings and expectations. Its most frequent use is probably based on the need of interconnection of applications and data exchange between them, or integration of several systems into a single global structure.

System integration is not about data, but rather about their meaning

Nowadays, the main focus of system integration is data content. Each system, developed specifically for a particular purpose, maintains its data in its own structure. The present task of system integration is providing for a logically appropriate data transfer, cleaning and integration in order to make these data useful for an additional purpose. One of the generally used solutions is export and import via MS Excel, however, we all know too well the troubles we encounter when doing so if the applications are not logically prepared.

Consolidation of applications

Another challenge for a system integrator is the fact that, in a number of companies, the gradual unmanaged acquisition of applications has led to a situation, in which similar processes in different departments are based on different autonomously procured applications and, on the other hand, certain processes are not supported at all. There are examples of more than 3 applications used for a single process within a company. Hence it is necessary to map the processes in the enterprise and their coverage by the applications, and to assess, which application meets the required criteria. Such analysis is the basis for a consolidation proposal suggesting which applications shall be abandoned, which shall be still supported and which new applications shall be obtained. At the same time, logical data transfers and sharing need to be solved.

System objectives

To logically integrate the tools used, or also to choose, from the product ranges by various suppliers, the technical and software equipment and services, which are compatible and capable of full scale collaboration, while most efficiently returning the investment into them. A prerequisite for this is a broad knowledge of the appropriate technologies in order to propose the most efficient solution. We approach each individual project specifically depending on customer’s objectives and focus.

A successful integration results in a physical, but, most importantly, logical integration of all the information systems and applications, with data sharing options across all company’s systems. Thanks to our knowledge of system integration, we possess tools apt to turn your visions and goals into reality. Our long experience makes us integrate and optimize information systems into a functional whole.
