RAMSES Learning for SAP Solutions

RAMSES Learning for SAP Solutions is a system for education management, a typical Learning Management System (LMS). It provides for planning, execution, documentation and evaluation of results of each educational project, as well as of the overall education process in the organization.

 

This portal solution is fully based on the SAP Learning Solution, which provides for its complete integration into the HR processes in the SAP HCM (Human Capital Management) solution. The essential features of this solution include: access to education via web interfaces, straightforward handling and, in particular, the proactivity of the entire system.

RAMSES Learning for SAP Solutions is a portal system fully based on the existing SAP Learning Solution, which provides for its complete integration into the SAP HCM (Human Capital Management) environment, however, it offers its own comfort, straightforwardness and transparency to the user.

This solution provides for access to functions used by both ordinary employees and managers, as well as by personnel responsible for education in the company. The education process can also become more active, as the RAMSES solution provides for an automated sending of e-mail messages informing on a particular action (for example, when a student logs in for training, both this student and his/her supervisor are informed via an e-mail message).

System objectives

The main objective of this new solution is to provide the participants in education within the organization with the maximum amount of comfort. That is why the solution is based on the portal environment, in which the participants can easily find their way, even when they do not routinely use the SAP solutions. The functions of the RAMSES Learning for SAP Solutions have been developed and transparently structured particularly for the following roles:

The manager

  • Monitors and plans education for his/her subordinates.
  • Approves attendance of his/her subordinates in educational projects.
  • Enters requests for new training programmes.

The employee responsible for education

  • Manages the catalogue and calendar of educational projects.
  • Based on requests and career plans, determines the scheduling of educational projects.
  • Provides for internal and external trainers for educational projects, reserves rooms, provides for attendance lists, etc.
  • Monitors and evaluates employee education.

The student

  • Applies for training, makes reservations for educational projects.
  • Runs e-learning courses and performs tests.
  • Studies associated electronic training materials.
  • Has information on his/her qualification plan available, as well as on the achieved and missed qualification levels.
